Artist Styling/Costume Planning

My artist's clothing is going to be quite typical of the Indie and Indie-rock genre. Although the difficult part of Indie style clothing is that it is mainly just normal clothes, therefore there isn't really any specific costume or type to conform to. Most Indie Rock bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Two Door Cinema Club and Bombay Bicycle Club all wear regular style clothes. These consist mostly of jeans, T-shirts and hoodies/jumpers. In order to emphasize the Indie genre, I asked my performers to wear light coloured clothes, and to make sure they didn't wear T-shirts that was merchandise from the metal genre.
